Gantt

Hello Guys!

Have a look at our MS-Project-File at the link below!
MS-Project-File
As you can see, our tasks are shown, but we have had a problem with the tasktracking in jira. That is the reason that our Gantt is not looking so great.
But we managed to connect MS-Project with Jira with synchronizing them with 2 - 4 clicks.
Additionaly we did not find an option adding milestones to our jira project. Therefore we did not include the milestone inception and milestone elaboration, etc.
We are trying to include it in MS-Project but we did not find any options for that until now.

We are sorry for the incomplite post.
Greethings!

  1. Hey Guys,
nice that you didn't had to fight that hard with MSProject.
Also it's good that you sort your tasks in diffenert categories. But I think they should be named according to RUP. Maybe you can change this.
Good luck with fixing the timetracking and including the milestones.

    1. Hello Franziska,
as you can see we can't show you a good looking Gantt-Chart, so the easy-to-use plug-in isn't a guarantee for a perfect diagram. But we try our best to sort the messed up timetracking as soon as possible. Also the RUP implementation will follow.
      Thank you for your feedback,

  2. Hey hey learning traingle:)

I've heard the problem with MS Project is pretty common. Looks like Jira tasks cannot be imported into the file properly. We don't use Jira in our project, so we didn't really have the problem, but I've heard from others that YouTrack is a great alternative to MS Project. Did you already try that?

    Best Wishes

    1. Hey Danny,
      thank you for your comment.
We already know about the MS Project problem. We can't change our tracking this semster, but we will try alternatives to be sure to keep the mess up as low as possible. Thank you for your proposal.
